BREAKING | Chester FC sign David Fitzpatrick!

Chester FC are pleased to announce the signing of left-back David Fitzpatrick!

The 31-year-old joins the club on a deal until the end of the season after leaving National League side Altrincham last month.

Steve Watson’s second signing as Blues boss, Fitzpatrick and the Chester FC Manager reunite after working together at Macclesfield Town.

The defender spent five years with the Silkmen, making over 180 appearances for the club. He was part of the side that won promotion to the EFL in 2018 and was named in the Non-League Paper’s National League Team of the Season in the process.

David has also made three appearances for England C.

He moved to League Two side Port Vale in August 2020 and spent the entire season at Vale Park, before arriving at Alty at the beginning of this campaign.

The move is subject to FA and National League approval, and the full-back could be in line to make his debut this Saturday when we visit Bradford (PA).

He will wear the number six shirt for the Blues.
