Jamie returned to Chester FC in June 2022. Morgan first linked up with the Blues back in the summer of 2019 from Nantwich Town, where he had just scooped up Players’, Manager’s and Supporters’ Player of the Season Awards.

Jamie made 36 appearances in two covid-curtailed seasons with Chester, scoring four goals. His stunning volley in January 2021 at Bradford (PA) was voted our Goal of the Season for the 2020/21 campaign. The full-back moved up a division to sign for Altrincham in January 2022 but has opted for a summer return to the Blues to link up with Manager Calum McIntyre.
