Job Advert: Matchday and SIA Stewards

Chester Football Club is recruiting Matchday Stewards and SIA Stewards for the 2024/25 season.

If you enjoy working with the public, have excellent interpersonal skills, work well as part of a team and hold either an SIA Licence (required for SIA Stewards) or NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety, or are willing to complete this course, we would love to hear from you.

As a steward, you will help ensure the safety and comfort of visitors to the Deva Stadium, engaging with spectators, offering assistance where needed, providing excellent customer service, and dealing with any incidents or hazards as they arise.

Successful applicants will be available to cover our home fixtures, which take place on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Bank Holidays during the season, as well as other ad hoc events at the stadium.

Applicants must be over the age of 18 and no previous experience is needed as full training will be provided, including working towards an NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety.
