CFU Memberships – An update
It’s been three months now since we introduced a new pricing structure and payment system to City Fans United Memberships.
A big thank you to all who have contributed, we now have over 700 members signed up through Fanbase – with current memberships over the 1,000 mark when off-app payments and legacy members are added.
As we continue to make progress transitioning our memberships to a brand-new platform, we’d like to provide the following FAQ update…
Q: I have a ‘Membership Number’ on my digital Fanbase card that is different to my usual CFU Membership Number. What should I do?
A: Nothing, please ignore this number. All numbers on Fanbase are unrelated to your Membership, and will be removed in due course.
Q: There is no option for me to ‘renew’ my Membership on Fanbase. What should I do?
A: Technically when signing up through Fanbase, you are not renewing. You will follow the same process as a new member. Our in-house database will still recognise you as a renewal.
Q: I am a Life Member and I have not heard anything yet. Is there anything I need to do?
A: We will contact all Life Members in due course. We apologise for the delay, the platform transition process has been slightly longer and more complex than first anticipated – however your membership is secure and your recognition as a Life Member remains.
Q: I am unable to set up a Direct Debit via Fanbase for my membership. Would should I do?
A: If you cannot use Fanbase for your membership, we are able to take annual payments in the Ticket Office. Please state which tier payment you want to make on arrival and our volunteers will take your payment through the till. Our in-house database will recognise that you have paid/renewed.
Q: I would like a printed CFU Membership card. How do I get one?
A: We will be providing printed cards for those that want them, further details will be communicated in due course.
