FA Cup Preview: Stockton Town (h)
After a 1-1 draw in the North-East on Saturday, the Blues will host Stockton Town at the Deva on Tuesday night, with a trip to Scarborough Athletic as the reward in the fourth qualifying round for the winner.
Connell Rawlinson’s late header earned the replay for the Seals, after a long-range stunner from Stephen Thompson had put the Anchors ahead.

Fourth qualifying round draw
As previously mentioned, the victor of Tuesday night’s replay will travel to fellow National League North side Scarborough Athletic in the fourth qualifying round.
Our most recent meeting with the Seadogs ended in dramatic fashion back in August, as Kurt Willoughby netted a 92nd minute winner after a Charlie Caton double had cancelled out a goal in each half from the visitors.
Scarborough handed Scunthorpe United their first defeat of the season in their last league outing, as Dom Tear continued his fine start to season by bagging the only goal of the contest in the first half.
Boro qualified for the Fourth qualifying round with a 2-0 win on the road at Warrington Rylands.
The tie will take place on the weekend of Saturday 12 October.
Prize money
Should we defeat Stockton on Tuesday, we will earn £5,625 in prize money, while the losing side will pocket £1,875.
Winning clubs in the fourth qualifying round receive £9,375, while losing clubs receive £3,150.
Saturday recap
After a quiet opening half at the MAP Group UK Stadium, Stephen Thompson opened the scoring for the hosts with a curling effort from long-range that gave Elyh Harrison no chance in the Chester goal.
Stockton goalkeeper Nathan Harker was excellent and kept out multiple Chester efforts, including a dangerous Kurt Willoughby free-kick with around ten minutes left of the contest.
Connell Rawlinson salvaged a draw for Calum McIntyre’s side in the 90th minute as the defender headed past Harker from close-range.

Inside the ground, the Kiosks will be serving their wider variety of pies during the new campaign, including Cottage Pies!
The Club Shop will be open from 6.30pm.
