Dylan Mottley-Henry joins Chester FC!

Chester FC are pleased to announce the signing of Dylan Mottley-Henry!

The 27-year-old winger goes straight into contention for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round game at Scarborough Athletic.

From Leeds, Dylan started his career at Bradford City before spending four years with Barnsley, where he had loan spells with Tranmere Rovers, Chesterfield and Harrogate Town.

Mottley-Henry joined South Shields in 2022, and spent the second half of last season on loan with fellow National League North side Buxton.

Manager Calum McIntyre said: “Dylan is a player we’ve liked for some time and I’m really pleased to have added him to the squad ahead of a busy time of the season.

“There isn’t an abundance of quality wide players at this level but Dylan is certainly one of them.

“He will add a different dimension to our forward options with his pace and power at the top end of the pitch.”
