Blues sign Will Hugill on loan from Burnley!

Chester FC are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Will Hugill on loan from Burnley!

The 20-year-old central midfielder links up with the Blues for an initial month and will be available for Saturday’s game against Hereford.

A boyhood Burnley fan and Captain of the U21’s, Hugill made his professional debut as a substitute for the Clarets in August in the Carabao Cup against Premier League side Wolves.

Manager Calum McIntyre said: “Will is a high energy midfield player that we think will contribute significantly in the centre of the pitch. He is a real athlete with a terrific physical profile.

“This adds a new dynamic to the middle of the pitch as we move on to an important month of the season.”
