Noah Wadsworth joins Chester FC on loan!

Chester FC are pleased to announce the loan signing of defender Noah Wadsworth from Hull City.

The 19-year-old will link up with the Blues for an initial month from the EFL Championship side, and will be available for selection for our Boxing Day trip to Marine subject to relevant approval.

A full-back that is comfortable on either side, Noah joined the Tigers in the summer after starting his professional career at Bradford City, where he made two senior league appearances.

Wadsworth, who will wear the number 24 shirt for the Seals, has had loan spells with Tadcaster Albion and also at our level last season with Farsley Celtic.

Manager Calum McIntyre said: “Noah gives us an option at full-back on both sides of the pitch.

“He is dynamic, has experience at this level and bolsters us at an important time of the season.

“We are looking to add to the group over the coming weeks but only with the right additions that improve us in the areas we feel we need to.

“It isn’t a case of adding bodies for the sake of it, but we have a small group and must look to continue to upgrade the group when the opportunities arise.”

We’d like to thank everyone at Hull City Football Club for their co-operation in getting this deal agreed and signed.

    Welcome to CH1, Noah!
