Boost the Budget: First Update

We can now confirm our first update of Boost the Budget 2025/26.

Thanks to your continuing Direct Debit pledges from the previous season, we are already beyond the £75,000 mark in search of our biggest ever target – as we look to hit a stretched target of £125,000 for the first time ever!

The initial total this week is just continuing pledges – with our next update coming on Tuesday – as we move to two totals per week for the remainder of BTB!

Just over four weeks remain for us to hit that target to give ourselves the best possible chance of going one better, having come so close to promotion in 2024/25. Every penny and every pledge will make a massive difference for our club.

Simply head to chesterfc.com/btb to make your pledge. You can make a one-off donation or choose to pay monthly via Direct Debit to your selected tier – with Boost the Budget rewards on offer across all tiers.

The tiers are: Our City, Our Community, Our Club, Club Hero, Club Legend and the Business Tier. Each tier brings additional rewards as you raise your contribution. More information can be found via the above link.

A MESSAGE FROM THE GAFFER

“I want us to be as ambitious as possible and (like all clubs) I really hope we are able to increase what we can spend on the football pitch this season on the back of last season’s success.

“We had 3,500 home supporters in the ground for the Buxton game. A £10 Boost the Budget donation from each of those would give us an additional £35,000 to spend which could’ve got us nearly three players last season.

“The funds from Season Ticket Sales, Boost the Budget and even CFU Membership fees all play their part in helping us improve the Football Team. My work is to try and get £2 value for every £1 we spend to allow us to compete at the top end of the division and I am looking forward to trying to do that.

“The Promotion Final still seems very raw but lots of work is going on behind the scenes in preparation for next season.

“Last season needs to be the starting point for more momentum, for bigger crowds, for bigger revenues and better results. It is all linked.”
