Isaac Burgess joins Prescot Cables on loan

Chester FC can announce that young defender Isaac Burgess has joined Prescot Cables on a three-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old signed for the Blues last week with a keen eye on development for the future.

Burgess departed National League outfit Rochdale’s youth setup in the summer.

The youngster his senior debut for the Dale in an FA Trophy clash with Gateshead in late 2023 at the age of just 17.

Another taste of senior football came in early 2025 with a month-long loan stint at Matlock Town in the NPL Premier Division.

Cables also ply their trade in the NPL Premier, and will be looking to build on last season’s positive campaign that culminated in a 10th-placed finish.
