Away Day Guide: Worksop Town (A)
The Blues head to Nottinghamshire this weekend for a clash with newly-promoted Worksop Town!
Our opponents come into the contest after back-to-back victories over Southport and Peterborough Sports that have moved the Tigers into the top half after the first five fixtures.
Calum McIntyre’s men sit one place below via goal difference after our inconsistent start, after two wins, two defeats and a draw with Curzon Ashton.
It will be the Seals’ first visit to Sandy Lane since a dramatic FA Cup victory in 2020, when a late brace from Danny Livesey rescued the Seals after the hosts looked to have done enough to progress with goals either side of half-time.
Simon Grand bagged the winning penalty in the shootout, as all five Chester takers scored to book a place in the third qualifying round.
