Alex Brown joins Colwyn Bay on loan

Chester FC can confirm that goalkeeper Alex Brown has joined Colwyn Bay on loan until January 2026.

The 19-year-old shot-stopper impressed on his Blues debut last term by keeping a clean sheet in our dominant 3-0 victory over King’s Lynn Town in April.

Alex spent the first month of the season on loan at NWCFL Premier Division outfit Prestwich Heys.

The ‘keeper will continue his development at Cymru Premier side Colwyn Bay, who sit ninth after the first five outings of their first campaign back in the Welsh top flight.

Brown will be available for the Seagulls’ long trip to Cardiff Met University on Saturday, who also find themselves on four points after the opening five fixtures.
