Away Day Guide: Morecambe (A)

    The Blues’ Emirates FA Cup journey continues on Saturday with a Fourth Qualifying Round tie against Morecambe at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium.

    Calum McIntyre’s side’s progression to this stage started with a battling away win at Stalybridge Celtic thanks to goals from Tom Peers and Jack Bainbridge, before a stunning 5-1 success over Curzon Ashton in the Third Qualifying Round.

    Our opponents enter the competition at this stage as a National League club, following their relegation from the EFL last term.

    The Shrimpers currently sit 24th on their return to the fifth tier for the first time since 2007, with a record of eight points from their first 12 encounters.

    Kick off at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium will be at 15:00 on Saturday 11th October. The postcode for the ground is LA4 4TB.

    Chester FC supporters have been allocated standing tickets in the Dennison Trailers Stand and seated tickets in the Castle Windows Stand.

    Children under the age of two are not allowed to attend the game at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium – Prams and Pushchairs are also not allowed inside the ground.

    All under 14’s must be accompanied by an Adult.

    Five wheelchair bays and carer tickets are available on a first come first served basis. All wheelchair spaces are within the away seated end.

    Travel

    By Car – Follow the M56 to nine and merge onto the M6 Northbound. Stay on the M6 until junction 34, leaving for the A683 which takes you into Morecambe. The A589 will then take you to Westgate, before the Mazuma Mobile Stadium emerges on your right.

    By Train – Take a Northern service to Warrington Bank Quay where you can change for an Avanti West Coast service to Lancaster, before a Northern service from Lancaster to Morecambe. Morecambe station is located 1.1 miles away from the Mazuma Mobile Station – The 6A bus operates from the station to the stadium and is scheduled to take around 20 minutes.
