Away Day Guide: Spennymoor Town (A)

The Blues head to the North-East on Saturday for a clash with Spennymoor Town at The Brewery Field!

The clash will kick-start a run of three-straight away games for Calum McIntyre’s side, who travel to Radcliffe on Tuesday evening before a meeting with King’s Lynn Town on Saturday 6th December.

A disappointing recent run in the Enterprise National League North has seen this weekend’s opposition slip outside the top seven, with just five points collected from their last seven outings.

This streak followed a fantastic start by the Moors, in which they won seven of their opening 11 encounters, including a perfect four-match sequence that saw victories over Leamington, Bedford Town, Southport, and Merthyr Town.

    MATCH DETAILS

Saturday’s match will kick-off at 15:00 at The Brewery Field. The postcode for the ground is DL16 6JN.

    TRAVEL

By Car – Join the M6 Northbound until you reach junction 38, before leaving for the A685 heading East. Stay on this road until you reach a right turn for the A66, before the A67, followed by the A688 which leads into Spennymoor. The ground is located on the left-hand side of Wood Vue.

By Train – The nearest station to the ground is located in Durham, with a distance between the two of just over six miles. The easiest way to get to The Brewery Field from the station is the number six bus, which takes around 30 minutes. Due to issues on Saturday, after changing at Newton-le-Willows onto a service to York, you will have to take a Rail Replacement Bus, which takes around two hours, to reach Durham.

We hope to see you there, UTS!
