Preview: Guiseley U19 vs Chester FC U19
After a month out of action, Chester U19 kick off the new year with a trip to Guiseley in the league for league action.
Unbeaten so far this season, the Seals face a busy schedule from now until the end of the season following the postponement of a number of fixtures.
The West Yorkshire side sit three points behind Chester and find themselves sixth in the NL U19 Alliance North Division
Chester have won seven games on the bounce in all competitions and have the best defensive record in the league, having conceded just six times in four games.
The two sides met earlier on in the season in September, where Chester defeated the Lions by a 4-0 scoreline at the King George V Sports Hub.
Wednesday’s fixture will take place at Nethermoor Park, home of Guiseley AFC’s first team, who play in the Northern Premier League.
The hosts were last in action one month ago, as they overcame Solihull Moors in a 3-2 win.
Before Christmas, Chester secured three vital points at home against AFC Fylde, extending their winning run.
After Wednesday, it will be three consecutive home games for Chester, as they look to close the gap on the three sides above them – Halifax Town, Gateshead and Blyth Spartans.
Date: Wednesday 14th January 2026
Kick-off: 14:00
Venue: Nethermoor Park, Guiseley AFC
Competition: National League U19 Alliance North Division
