George Murray-Jones to stay until the end of the season!

Chester FC can confirm that George Murray-Jones’ loan spell from Nottingham Forest has been extended until the end of the season!

The shot-stopper has featured in every Blues contest since making the switch to CH1 in late August, registering clean sheets in wins over Alfreton Town, Morecambe, Leamington, King’s Lynn Town, and Macclesfield.

The 21-year-old had stints at Southend United and Manchester City prior to his move to Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2024.

During his time with City, Murray-Jones picked up both U21 Premier League and U18 English Youth League medals, before a first taste of senior football with FC United of Manchester.
