Bobby put pen-to-paper at the Deva Stadium in January 2026 as he joined until the end of the season on loan from Boston United. Jones joined with a back log of National League North experience, having previously featured for the likes of Farsley Celtic, Brackley Town, Curzon Ashton, and Spennymoor Town. Following stints in the youth setups at both Middlesbrough and Wigan Athletic, Jones made a permanent switch to AFC Fylde in 2021, where he stayed for 12 months before a move to Stockport County. Whilst with the Hatters, Bobby was sent on loan to both Brackley and Marine, and won promotion with the latter during the tail end of the 2023/24 campaign.
