Community Trust partner with Big Yellow
Sealand Road based business providing free storage space to the Trust
Chester FC Community Trust received a welcome Christmas present from self-storage experts Big Yellow, who are continuing their support of the Blues by providing free storage space to the Trust on an ongoing basis.
Big Yellow, Chester’s largest self-storage provider based on Sealand Road, have offered the space worth £3,000 per year to the Blues to help with the ongoing development of the community arm of the football club.
Jeff Banks, Business Development Manager at Big Yellow and Chester FC fan said, “We’re delighted to continue our support of Chester FC with free storage space for the Community Trust. We have a tremendous link with the club and as well as supporting the Blues on the pitch, we wanted to help make a difference off the pitch too.”
Jim Green, Chief Executive Offer of the Community Trust also acknowledged the support that Big Yellow are giving, “We’re very grateful to Big Yellow for their fantastic support of the Club and the free storage space will make a big difference as the Trust continues to grow and develop.”
Chester FC also teamed up with Big Yellow for their annual Christmas Toy Appeal which asked for donations of new toys and gifts that will be distributed to local children and family charities across the local area.
Blues fans supported the appeal with donations before manager Jon McCarthy and his squad visited the children’s and neo-natal units at the Countess of Chester Hospital in the run up to Christmas to hand out some of the toys and gifts donated to the appeal.
