James Akintunde signs new deal at Chester
Chester FC are pleased to announce that striker James Akintunde will remain at the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium for the 2017-18 season.
Akintunde, 21, showed glimpses of his true potential last season – in a campaign that was cut short due to a long-term injury.
The pacey striker made 17 appearances in all competitions last term – scoring an excellent winner at North Ferriby in October and bagging in the 5-0 home rout against Dover in the same month.
James becomes the fourth player to be part of Jon McCarthy’s squad next season; alongside Player/Assistant Manager Tom Shaw, Ryan Astles and new striker Harry White.
