BREAKING | Nathan Brown leaves the club
Chester Football Club can this morning confirm that Nathan Brown has left the club by mutual consent to enable him the opportunity to secure a new club and regular football for the coming season.
The 20-year-old was a product of the Blues Youth Academy; signing his first professional contract in the summer of 2017.
He was a part of Calum McIntyre’s team that conquered Fleetwood and Bolton in the FA Youth Cup – scoring a stunning free kick against the former and then scoring in the 2-0 victory over the latter.
He scored some memorable goals for the Youth Team as well as scoring against Hyde United in the Cheshire Senior Cup on his first team debut.
He then made his mark in 2017/18 too. Brown’s winning goal against Bromley in April 2018 was voted Goal of the Season for the campaign, a superb solo strike as Nathan ran more than half the length of the pitch before slotting home.
Brown has made two sub appearances for Chester FC this season.
We’d like to thank Nathan for some great memories and for all his time and effort with the club. We wish him the very best for the future.
