BOOST THE BUDGET 2025/26
Boost the Budget gives Blues fans the chance to donate to next season’s playing budget in return for exclusive rewards and experiences, while providing crucial support for Calum McIntyre and his staff.
Our target this year is bigger than ever, as we aim to raise £125,000 to give ourselves the best possible chance of going one better, having come so close to promotion in 2024/25. Every penny and every pledge will make a massive difference for our club.
The 2025/26 Boost the Budget window will be open from Saturday 31st May until Saturday 5th July, with a fantastic range of rewards for pledgers.
I AM ALREADY A BOOST THE BUDGET PLEDGER, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Nothing!
If you pledged via a monthly donation last year, you will have already been contacted to say you don’t have to do a thing – simply allow your direct debit to continue running!

We’re also pleased to announce that, from week commencing 9th June, we will be providing TWO updates a week – allowing supporters to keep an even closer watch on how we’re progressing in hitting our £125,000 target!
WHY HAVE WE INCREASED THE TARGET?
CFU Vice Chair Jim Green said: “Boost the Budget has been a real success story for our football club, which is solely down to your collective efforts as supporters year after year.
“This is an ambitious target, but it is one that reflects the ambition we have as a football club to challenge for promotion to the National League and deliver the success you deserve.
“Achieving our target ensures that as a board we can provide Calum with the most competitive playing budget possible, and if we can surpass it, we will make extra funds available to further strengthen the squad.
“We will never take your support for granted, and appreciate everyone is feeling the impact of the rising cost of living, but this is our chance as fans to back one of our own in Calum and play our part together in making the difference on the pitch.”
I’VE NOT PLEDGED BEFORE. HOW DO I CONTRIBUTE?
Simply head to chesterfc.com/btb to make your pledge. You can make a one-off donation or choose to pay monthly via Direct Debit to your selected tier – with Boost the Budget rewards on offer across all tiers.
The tiers are: Our City, Our Community, Our Club, Club Hero, Club Legend and the Business Tier. Each tier brings additional rewards as you raise your contribution. More information can be found via the above link.
General Manager Albert Davies said: “Ever since the Promotion Final, the support we’ve seen from our supporters online, and also those coming to renew their Season Tickets in the office has been immense. Unwavering support, true pride, and a lot of positivity going into the new season.
“Last year, we hit our target and raised £106,000 courtesy of 569 incredible pledgers.
“With more than 1,300 co-owners and 1,400 season ticket holders, we believe there is potential to increase the number of pledges to 750, and if each new pledger signed up to donate £10 a month, we’d achieve our goal.
“We have all seen over recent years what an incredible job Calum and his staff have been able to do with your financial support through this scheme.
“Get involved if you can. Spread the word if you can. It all makes a massive difference.”
