Adam Bott signs first senior deal at Chester FC!
Chester FC are pleased to announce that midfielder Adam Bott has penned his first senior deal at The Deva Stadium!
The 18-year-old Captained the Youth Team last year and spent the second half of the season on dual registration with Pilkington, scoring on two occasions.
Bott is from Knowsley and made his senior debut as a 17-year-old last August in our 3-0 victory over King’s Lynn Town as a late substitute.
This came after he had scored in a 2-0 pre-season victory over Hanley Town the month prior.
First Team Coach and Academy Manager Mike Allcock said: “Adam has been excellent since arriving at Chester FC from Rochdale AFC.
“He joined us as a first year scholar and was a regular in our National League U19 Academy games programme as a first year, as well as in the FA Youth Cup.
“Adam was given the responsibility in his second year to be Academy Captain and has matured immensely over the past twelve months.
“His spell at Pilkington FC helped him to mature further and exposed him to a senior environment for eight to twelve games.
“Adam has developed into an excellent professional, improving technically and tactically in the process. We are looking forward to helping Adam with his football journey and continue to be committed to develop him further.
“We believe it is important now to expose Adam to more senior football further down the pyramid whilst monitoring him closely within our training environment.
“As Academy Manager, it is another great achievement for us producing another player that understands the club’s culture and ethos.”
Congratulations, Adam!
