Albert Davies’ General Manager role made permanent
Albert Davies’ role as General Manager has now been made permanent at Chester FC.
Following his initial appointment as Interim General Manager back in February, Albert has now completed his six-month probationary period at the Deva Stadium and will now continue on a permanent basis.
City Fans United Chair, Kieron Shiel, said: “The trust and faith we as a Board and as a Club placed in Albert six months ago has truly paid off.
“His commitment and performance to the role has been second to none and he has been a breath of fresh air in and around the club.
“His hard work and dedication to all things Chester FC has been a pleasure to witness and work alongside.
“In such a short space of time, he has driven several important changes and successful initiatives at the club from introducing and managing the new ticketing platform to implementing the new CFU Membership system which has driven the number up significantly.
“In addition, he has introduced new commercial opportunities to the club and continued to drive and hit a variety of commercial targets.
“It has been an easy decision to make this a permanent appointment, he is a pleasure to work with and is an absolute asset to Chester FC and no doubt there’s even more to come.”
