Alex Lynch signs new one-year deal
Chester Football Club are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Alex Lynch has signed a new deal to remain at the club for the 2017/18 campaign.
The 22-year-old made 27 National League appearances last term – and impressed the Blues faithful following his arrival from Bala Town back in October.
The young Welshman produced a string of excellent performances throughout the campaign – including some stunning saves in games against Wrexham and away at Torquay.
Lynch is the ninth Blues player from last season to sign back up at the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium – alongside two new faces in strikers Harry White and Nyal Bell; and three academy graduates in Nathan Brown, Tom Crawford and James Jones as Jon McCarthy’s squad continues to take shape for the forthcoming season.
