
Away Day Guide: Runcorn Linnets (A)
The Blues are back in pre-season action in midweek with a trip to the APEC Taxis Stadium to face Runcorn Linnets.
Our second fixture in preparation for 25/26 pitches Calum McIntyre against his former side, whom he left to take up the managerial post at the Deva Stadium in 2022.
Linnets have been a regular fixture in the NPL Division One West since 2018 after promotion from the NWCFL Premier Division.

Kick off on Tuesday night is 19:45. The postcode for the ground is WA7 6GJ.
The APEC Taxis Stadium holds a maximum capacity of 1,600 spectators.

Tickets are available to buy on the gate on Tuesday, with no option to purchase online in advance.
Travel
By Car – Follow the M56 until junction 12 before joining the A557 towards Clifton Road. From there join Halton Station Road and on to the A56 which leads to Murdishaw Avenue. The APEC Taxis Stadium will then appear on the right hand-side of the road.
By Train – The nearest train station to the APEC Taxis Stadium is Runcorn East. The distance from the station to the ground is 0.9 miles. Services returning from Runcorn East to Chester following the game are scheduled for 22:25 and 23:31.
