Away Day Guide: Southport (A)

The Blues are back on the road tomorrow night with a trip to Southport!

Calum McIntyre’s side will be looking to build on Saturday’s 2-1 success at Buxton, which came thanks to a goal in each half from Jack Bainbridge, the first through a poked finish from close-range, before a stunning header secured all three points in the 67th minute.

Southport climbed to within goal difference of safety at the weekend, courtesy of an impressive 2-1 win on the road at Hereford, which followed another important away win last Tuesday over Oxford City.

Our last trip to Haig Avenue saw a header from Connor Woods earn all three points back in April.
