Blacon Seals fundraiser for Maddie and Ava!

On New Year’s Day, the Blacon Seals will embark on a journey from the Leap76 Stadium to Warrington Town FC – a 23-mile trek – to support two incredible girls, Maddie and Ava who are facing daunting health challenges.

With fundraising now at over £2,000 ahead of their walk, your support for Maddie and Ava would be hugely appreciated at this time.

The Blacon Seals will be starting their walk at 4am from the Leap76 Stadium, and are inviting all Chester fans to join their effort. The route includes a stop at the Railway pub in Helsby before reaching the Warrington Town vs Chester match, which is a 3pm kick off on January 1st.

Meet Maddie: Maddie, a resilient 2-year-old from Warrington, is battling stage 4 Wilms tumour. Despite enduring chemotherapy, surgeries, and facing complications, Maddie’s spirit shines. Her family, including two sisters, has been profoundly impacted, both emotionally and financially.

Meet Ava: Ava, another brave 2 year old, from Chester, is confronting a glioblastoma tumour. Through surgeries, radiotherapy, and setbacks, Ava’s resilience and infectious smile inspire everyone around her. Now, her family aims to gather funds for an experimental immunotherapy treatment, a beacon of hope they cannot afford alone.
