Blues to host Walsall in pre-season friendly
Chester FC can this morning announce that Walsall will be visiting the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium for a pre-season friendly in July.
The game will take place on Saturday 22nd July with kick off at 3pm.
The League One side finished 14th last season with 58 points in the 2016/17 campaign – and will see a Chester return for former Assistant Manager Ian Sharps; who left the Blues for the Saddlers back in November.
Jon McCarthy also had Liam Roberts and Theo Vassell in his squad last season – both on loan from the Bescot Stadium side.
