BREAKING | Alex Brown signs for Chester FC!

Chester FC are delighted to announce the signing of left-back Alex Brown!

Defender Brown has joined Calum McIntyre’s side on a permanent deal until the end of the season after departing Boston United earlier this week.

The 24-year-old already has plenty of experience at this level and has made 21 appearances this term for the Pilgrims.

Alex has been capped twice for England C, alongside having spells at Kettering Town, King’s Lynn Town and Buxton.

At Kettering last term, Brown scooped both the Town Player of the Season and Fans’ Player of the Season.

The Blues boss McIntyre said: “Alex gives us further defensive options and we are delighted to strengthen our squad at a time when we are in a good moment.

“He has a huge pedigree at this level, and we are pleased to add a player of his calibre to an already strong group.

“It’s important we continue to look to improve across the board and adding quality, proven players at this level to the group is part of this process.”
