BREAKING | Blues announce Kaizen Ticketing partnership
Chester FC are delighted to announce that the club have teamed up with Kaizen Ticketing which will enable the club to revolutionize its ticketing operations in the future.
Kaizen Ticketing will host an online portal accessed via the Chester FC official website, from which all season tickets and matchday tickets will be sold. Digital scanners will be implemented at each entry point to the Deva Stadium on matchdays to provide fans with a speedy entry into the ground, as well as cashless access to the ground.
Season Tickets will take the form of a swipe card for season 2020/21 and existing season ticket holders will be able to renew their own and other family members’ season tickets too if they wish to do so, in what is a very quick online process.
Fans who are not able to renew online will be invited to call the box office at Chester FC later this week once the business reopens.
Jeff Banks, Director of Fan Engagement, said: “We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Kaizen Ticketing, a company who are specialists at delivering e-commerce solutions for football clubs, and have great experience in doing so, and will certainly improve the ticketing at the club.
“We also had a vision of moving towards online ticketing, and with the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic forcing many changes on to the club, this is a major step forward for Chester FC.
“We have many remaining challenges with the social distancing measures that the club are having to put in place, and online ticketing will help reduce contact wherever possible.
“One of the key factors in moving to online ticketing was to improve the fan experience by being able to enter the Deva Stadium as quickly and efficiently as possible, and with fans being able to purchase car park season passes too, this will make the whole fan journey really smooth from start to finish”.
David Lynam, Director of Kaizen said, “The Kaizen team are thrilled to be partnering with Chester FC. We want to make the experience a supporter has with their club as seamless as possible and believe that the fans will see a change for the better. We’re looking forward to working with everyone at the Club and helping them to be successful in realising their ambitions.“
The online portal will go live this evening – season ticket holders will be emailed the link to the platform in the first instance.
