BREAKING | Blues drawn against Darlington in Emirates FA Cup

Chester FC have been drawn away to Darlington in the Second Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The tie is scheduled for the weekend of 17th/18th/19th September, and will be confirmed in due course. The winning team from this tie will receive £3,375 as prize money – with the losers getting £1,125.

Chester reached the Fourth Qualifying Round last season following victories over Worksop Town and Spennymoor, before losing to Marine.

Fellow National League North side Darlo beat Prescot Cables, Tadcaster Albion and Cambridge City all at home last season to reach the First Round Proper, then going on to beat EFL side Swindon Town away. They were beaten by Bristol Rovers in Round Two.
