BREAKING | Blues sign Ben McKenna from Bradford PA

Chester Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Ben McKenna from Bradford (Park Avenue).

Winger Ben, who turned 26 years old on Wednesday, has five goals this term for the side who sit 2nd in the National League North table. One of those goals was at the Swansway Chester Stadium, the first goal of the game as the Blues ran out 5-3 winners.

The Burnley born midfielder has made 21 appearances for Avenue this season, which includes 11 starts.

McKenna has plenty of experience at this level, having also featured for Southport, Workington and Curzon Ashton.

Joint Manager Anthony Johnson said: “We’re really excited about this signing as Ben is someone we’ve tracked for the last couple of seasons and always been superb against us including a goal for BPA this season.

“He’s a quick player with great feet and very direct. He’s another player that will have the Chester supporters on the edge of their seats.”

    Welcome to Chester FC, Ben!
