BREAKING | Chester FC sign Kieran Coates!

Chester FC are pleased to announce the signing of full-back Kieran Coates!

The 20-year-old right sided defender has put pen to paper at the Deva, having left Championship side Stoke City this summer.

Coates also spent time on loan at SSE Airtricity League First Division side Cork City last season.

Manager Calum McIntyre said: “Kieran is known to us from his time at Stoke.

“It is clear we needed to do something in terms of getting some bodies in in defensive areas. He’s a really athletic right back that will add some speed across the back line.

“We’ve acted quickly in response to some of the injuries we have had this week to bring Kieran in.”
