BREAKING | Deane Smalley joins the Blues

Chester Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of striker Deane Smalley following a successful trial period.

Smalley is a physical forward who has a plethora of Football League experience. He made over 100 appearances for Oldham Athletic – and also featured 81 times for Oxford United.

The 29-year-old was part of the Ashton United squad that won promotion last season – alongside Dom Smalley, John Pritchard and Dan Mooney.

Smalley is now in contention to feature for the Blues against Spennymoor in the league opener tomorrow.
