BREAKING | James Jones moves to Salford City

Chester FC can confirm that promising young defender James Jones has joined Salford City in an undisclosed compensation agreement.

Jones broke into the first team during the 2017/18 campaign after he signed his first professional contract last summer.

The 19-year-old Academy Graduate made 15 appearances last term and was named Man of the Match on his debut against Solihull Moors in December.

We would like to thank James for his time and efforts whilst at the Swansway Chester Stadium, and wish him all the best for the future.
