BREAKING | Two Chester FC players depart temporarily

Chester FC can announce two departures from the Swansway Chester Stadium this lunchtime.

John Pritchard has joined Evo-Stik Premier Division side Buxton FC on loan for a month.

He links up with a fellow Blues loanee – goalkeeper Theo Roberts who has spent this season with the Bucks.

Pritchard has made seven starts in all competitions for the Blues this season, with nine sub appearances. He had scored four goals this term including a brace against City of Liverpool in an FA Cup win in September.

Winger Luke Jordan has signed dual registration forms with Lancaster City – who play in the same division.

Luke has made two starts for the club since arriving from Ramsbottom in September.

Joint Manager Anthony Johnson said: “Both lads are going out to benefit from more action – as both clubs can promise Luke and John first team football.

“We feel that their development would be best served with time away from the club and getting lots of minutes.”

Best of luck, Luke and John!
