BREAKING | Mike Allcock joins Academy Setup at Chester FC
Chester FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Allcock as Youth Team Assistant Manager and Lead Technical Coach for the Academy.
Mike joins the club from National League North rivals AFC Fylde where he was Under 18’s Manager – having joined the Coasters from Hyde United.
The new role will see Michael work on a daily basis with the club’s Youth Team Scholars as well as develop a new technical programme for the club’s junior section.
On his appointment, Mike said: “I am excited to be joining Chester and helping the Academy continue to produce quality players for the club’s first team.”
Academy Head Coach Calum McIntyre said: “This is a huge appointment for the Academy and for Chester Football Club.
“We have finally been able to bring in additional support with our scholars and to bring in someone of Mike’s calibre is going to be huge for us.
“It’s something I have wanted us to do for a while and Mike is absolutely perfect for this role. He will further develop what we have in place and be vital in making sure what we offer is the best it can possibly be. I am so excited to have him here as part of the team.”
