BREAKING | Myles Anderson rejoins Blues until end of season

Chester Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of defender Myles Anderson on a deal until the end of the season.

We are also delighted to announce that a sponsor is to fund the wages and expenses of Myles until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

Whilst the sponsor wishes to remain anonymous at this moment, Chester FC are most grateful for their generous offer and for their amazing support of our Club at this difficult time.

Anderson arrives back at the Swansway following his release from Torquay – having been on loan with the Blues since November.

Myles was a pivotal part of Gulls’ escape from the drop last season – and made seven appearances this term for the Devon-based side.

He was then snapped up on a temporary basis by Marcus Bignot – impressing in his two starts in December against Solihull and AFC Fylde in the FA Trophy – the Blues victorious in both games.

A concussion injury has made it a frustrating couple of months for Myles – but he has shown the Blues faithful his defensive ability in the games which he featured.

Starting his career at Leyton Orient, the centre-back then moved on to Aberdeen. He has also had spells in Italy with Monza and Chievo.

Welcome back to Chester FC, Myles!
