Burke moves to 8th in all-time Chester FC appearances!
Our New Year’s Day draw with Southport saw one of our own, Harrison Burke, move up to eighth in the all-time appearances list for our reformed club!
At the age of just 22, Burke made his 129th appearance in the goalless draw at the Deva on Wednesday, joining teammates Declan Weeks, Kevin Roberts and George Glendon in the top eight.
An Academy graduate who has Captained the club both at Youth Team and First Team level, Harrison continues to impress and marked the occasion a few days ago by being named Player of the Match.
Burke made his 100th Blues appearance back in April, and then in May at our Awards Evening was named the club Players’ Player and CFU Player of the Season.
This term has arguably been even stronger for Harrison, scoring six times and contributing two assists as well as leading the defensive unit, starting in 22 of our 23 games this term – whilst also being named Vanarama National League North Player of the Month for November 2024.
