CFCW Preview: Altrincham (h)

Chester FC Women return to the Leap76 Stadium for the final time this season, as they welcome Altrincham FC Women on Wednesday evening looking to end their home campaign on a high.

The Blues bounced back from defeat at league leaders Wythenshawe, by edging a seven goal thriller against Ellesmere Port Town Ladies.

Goals from Sarah Redman, Emma Gray, an own goal and the late winner Rach Lloyd ensured Chester took maximum points on the road for seventh time this campaign to remain four points behind second place Poulton with a game in hand.

The Manchester outfit currently find themselves in tenth place in the table on five points with a just a single win to their name this campaign. Chester claimed all three points when the two sides met in the reverse fixture, a 4-2 win on the road in September.
