CFCW Preview: Radcliffe (h)

Chester FC Women return to cup completion this weekend, as they welcome Radcliffe FC Women to The Leap76 Stadium in the first round of The Alliance Design & Print Plate.

The Blues recorded an eleventh straight league victory last weekend, following a comfortable 5-1 win against local rivals Warrington Town Women.

Goals from Emma Gray, Charlotte Locke, Ellie Bradley, Evie Halliwell and a first Chester goal for Emily Jones ensured the Seals took all three points and kept their long unbeaten league run going.

Following the three points, Chester once again moved joint top of the league with Wythenshawe on thirty-nine points, with the two sides separated by goal difference and the blues having played a game more.

Sunday’s visitors currently ply their trade in Division One North and are currently placed fourth in the table with eight wins from sixteen games to date.

The Boro come into this weekend’s clash on the back of a 1-1 draw against Penwortham Town, the side are currently on a run of five games without a win dating back to December.
