CFCW REPORT: Mossley Hill Athletic 0-6 Chester

Chester advanced in the Alliance Design and Print Cup yesterday with a convincing win at Mossley Hill.

The Blues took an early lead through Ellie Bradley, who found the net with an excellent 25-yard free kick, setting the tone for an excellent afternoon.

Their lead was doubled courtesy of a slick team move on the half hour mark, ending with Kerry Morris squaring for top scorer Molly Wood to convert.

Both Bradley and Wood added to their accounts before the half time break, with the former scoring the third from an Emma Gray pass – before Wood rounded the ‘keeper on 42 minutes to make it four.

Wood completed her hat-trick to make it 26 for the season with a stunning lob from distance on the hour mark – making it 5-0 to the Seals.

The sixth goal came late on as sub Evie Halliwell fired home to round off an excellent afternoon for the Seals. Preston North End await in the next round on Sunday 11th February at the Leap76 Stadium.
