Charlie Caton named National League North Player of the Month!

Chester FC are delighted to announce that Charlie Caton has been named Vanarama National League North Player of the Month for August 2024!

Charlie has been recognised for starting the 2024/25 campaign in red hot form, scoring five goals in six matches in the opening month of the season.

The 21-year-old becomes the first Blues player to be recognised with this award in three and a half years, with Captain George Glendon the last man to claim this accolade back in January 2021.

Caton has also started September with a goal against Kidderminster, taking his current tally for the campaign to six goals in eight matches.

Manager Calum McIntyre said: “I’m delighted Charlie’s terrific performances have been recognised with the League’s Player of the Month Award for August.

“It is right to highlight his impressive goal return, but his overall performances have been superb.

“He is an important player for us and this will be the first time he has been recognised with such an award. I am really pleased for him, he is someone I think a lot of and this is just reward for his efforts.”
