Chester FC has also updated its Carers ticketing policy for 2025/26…

For those who do require assistance, the club offers a complimentary carer season ticket or match ticket in order for those supporters to receive additional support when attending the Deva Stadium.

The club provide this complimentary carer ticket as a reasonable provision to enable disabled supporters to either access or better access the club’s facilities and matchday services. That is the purpose of the offer. Disabled and carer cards or tickets are sold as a pair and both tickets are allocated to the disabled supporter only. The carer card or ticket is therefore allocated under the disabled supporter’s name.

A carer ticket is issued on the understanding that it is used in conjunction with the disabled supporter card or ticket and on the basis of undertaking the related carer duties required at the Deva Stadium.

The disabled supporter will require relevant documentation to qualify for an additional carer Season Ticket or Match Ticket. This can be…

    * A letter from the Department of Works and Pensions confirming your entitlement to the higher or middle rate mobility/care component of Disability Living Allowance
    * A letter from your GP confirming the nature of your disability
     * A letter confirming you receive Enhanced rate of Personal Independent Payment (PIP)
     * BD8 Certificate (Visually Impaired supporters only)
CFU Vice-Chair Jim Green said: “The economic landscape remains difficult, and our club is not exempt from the pressure of inflation, as we contend with National Insurance and minimum wage increases, sharp rises in utility bills, and stadium maintenance.
“To help mitigate these rising costs, but, crucially, ensure we can deliver the most competitive football budget possible that allows us retain our key players and strengthen the squad, we have implemented a marginal increase on Season Tickets and Matchday Admission.
“We have also refreshed our Under 12s pricing for 2025/26 based on supporter feedback and data that shows usage of these season tickets was significantly lower than other categories, presenting challenges for high-interest matches. £1 advance admission for U12’s ensures visiting the Deva remains affordable for families.
“The board, staff and volunteers will keep working to secure new sponsors, build attendances, and increase revenues, with the fan canopy and our decision to bring the bars and events operation in-house underlining this commitment, but your continued support is so important.”
