City Fans United AGM – Stand for Election to the Board

The Annual General Meeting of City Fans United (CFU) will take place on Thursday 27 November 2025 at 7.30pm in the Blues Bar at the Deva Stadium. 

This year, there are four vacancies on the CFU Board of Directors, which also serves as the Board of Chester Football Club. We are inviting members to put themselves forward for election and help shape the future of our fan-owned football club.

Serving as a Director is a fantastic opportunity to play an active role in Chester FC’s continued success and development. Board members are elected for a three-year term before either standing down or seeking re-election.

Eligibility to Stand

To be eligible to stand for election, you must:

Be 18 years of age or over

Have been a fully paid-up CFU member for at least 60 days before the closing date for nominations, which means the last date you can join CFU to be eligible is Wednesday 13th August 2025.

The same membership requirement applies if you wish to nominate another member to stand. Candidates must also be nominated by two other eligible CFU members.

Attending the AGM

To attend, you must also be a fully paid-up member by 13th August 2025. Please bring your CFU membership number for a smooth check-in.
