COMMUNITY TRUST | Grand Summer Raffle and FAQ’s
There is still time to enter Chester FC Community Trust’s Grand Summer Raffle and be in with the chance of winning £1000 cash.
The raffle is a fundraiser for the King George V Sports Hub project, which aims to create a thriving hub for sport in Chester with fantastic facilities for local clubs and teams to access.
As well as the £1000 top prize, there are a host of fantastic prizes up for grabs including an Apple iPad, Chester FC matchday hospitality, tickets for Chester Races and lots more.
Tickets for the Grand Summer Raffle cost just £1 each or £5 for a book of five tickets with the draw taking place on 1st August. Every penny raised will go towards the sports hub fundrasing campaign.
The £1.6 million scheme is being developed in partnership with Cheshire West & Chester Council and will increase participation in sport, improve health and wellbeing, and provide employment, education and training as well as placing Chester FC at the heart of the community.
Jim Green, chief executive of the Community Trust, said: “There’s been a good response to the Grand Summer Raffle and it is a really simple way for people to support King George V Sports Hub while having the chance to win some great prizes.
“This is a brilliant opportuinity for sport in the city and one that will provide huge benefits for the community. We are working closely with the council and key stakholders to progress the scheme and everyone involved is committed to delivering this amazing facility for Chester.
“We want to thank everyone who has bought tickets already and ask supporters and the public to consider buying some tickets and helping us raise even more.
“We also wish to thank the local companies who have donated prizes and encourage everyone to continue supporting those businesses who support Chester FC and sport in our city.”

Grand Summer Raffle FAQs
When is the draw?
The draw will take place on Thursday 1st August during the City Fans United season ticket collection night in the Blues Bar at Chester FC, which begins at 7.30pm.
When do tickets need to be returned by?
Tickets can be returned up until 7.30pm on the day of the draw, however if it is possible to return them earlier than this it would be appreciated.
Where do I return tickets to?
Ticket stubs, unsold tickets and monies should be returned to Chester FC Community Trust, Deva Stadium, Bumpers Lane, Chester CH1 4LT.
How can I return ticket monies?
Ticket monies should be returned along with ticket stubs to Chester FC Community Trust, Deva Stadium, Bumpers Lane, Chester CH1 4LT. Please make cheques payable to ‘Chester FC Community Trust’. If you wish to make a bank transfer, please email community@chesterfc.com for details.
How can I purchase tickets?
