Dan Turner recalled from Leamington loan

Chester FC can confirm that forward Dan Turner has been recalled from his loan spell with Leamington.

Dan returned to the Brakes on a temporary basis back in December, and contributed four goals and two assists in twelve appearances for Paul Holleran’s side.

Manager Calum McIntyre said: “It’s great to have Dan back involved after a really successful spell on loan at Leamington.

“He’s gone and got regular minutes, scored goals and comes to us bang in form. The plan would’ve always been to return to us at some point and circumstances have meant now is the right time to do that.”

Calum continued: “Dylan Mottley-Henry won’t feature for at least the next two weeks as he’s ruled out with a concussion.

“He was hospitalised on Saturday as a result of a horrific elbow off the ball while playing for FC United. I’ve watched the incident and it’s an absolute disgrace. We’re all wishing Dylan a safe and speedy recovery.”

Turner will be available for selection on Tuesday night, as we head to Oxford City. Welcome back, Dan!
