EXCLUSIVE | Myles Anderson on being back with the Blues

Here’s what Myles Anderson had to say to ChesterFC.com following today’s announcement that he is back at the Swansway on a deal until the end of the season:

“I am delighted to be rejoining Chester FC. It’s an important club with a good, hard-working, honest environment.

“It has been an extremely frustrating few weeks for me on a personal level after a positive start at the club.

“I learned a lot from my experience at Torquay last season as we survived relegation on the final day. I believe I have gained a knowledge of what is necessary to help the team to get out of this situation.

“I feel I can bring experience and positivity to the group. I genuinely believe we can stay up and so do all the lads.

“We’ve got the desire and passion as well as a hard working mentality and a humility about the group to get us out of this situation.

“Now is a great opportunity for everyone at the club – players, staff and fans – to get together and play an influential role to determine this club’s future.

“I’ve been given the all clear and should be back in full training after the Woking game. I am itching to get back and help this club as much as possible.

“We know our performances on the pitch have to be massive and we are going to have to push ourselves to our absolute limits.

“We know, as a group of players, what is going to be required of us physically, mentally and emotionally over the next months and we are ready for the fight!”
