The Blues are back to Emirates FA Cup action this weekend, travelling to Marske United.
Bern and Jonno’s men looked back in the groove last Saturday. Five second half goals gave them a thumping win over Blyth Spartans, which followed a draw and win over Darlington in the Cup in the days prior – keeping two clean sheets in the process.
They go to a Marske side that play in the Northern Premier League (East) Division, two below the Blues. The Seasiders have won each of their last seven matches – without conceding a goal – including an impressive 3-0 win against South Shields in the previous round.
Winners at the 3QR stage receive £5,625 in prize money and the losers get £1,875. Should the game finish level after 90 minutes, a replay will take place at the Deva Stadium on Tuesday.
