FA CUP REPLAY PREVIEW | Chester vs Marske United
Chester and Marske United will do battle once again on Tuesday night in an Emirates FA Cup Replay.
‘Battle’ was the key word on Saturday, as the Blues held their own in difficult conditions to draw 0-0 against dangerous opposition.
Monday afternoon’s draw confirmed that the winners of this tie will host Gateshead in the Fourth Qualifying Round. Bern and Jonno’s side will be encouraged after stretching their unbeaten run to four, conceding just one goal in the process.
Jack Redshaw once again misses out due to being cup tied, but encouraging signs saw Kevin Roberts and Jude Oyibo return to the pitch on the weekend following injury.
The winning team from this tie will receive £5,625 with the losers getting £1,875. If the game is level after 90 minutes, extra time and penalties may be required.
